Same-day dental crowns, also known as chairside crowns or CEREC crowns, are a type of dental crown that can be designed, fabricated, and placed in a single dental appointment, rather than requiring multiple visits over a period of several weeks. We offer CEREC crowns from our state of the art PrimeScan and PrimeMill.
The process for getting same-day dental crowns involves using advanced technology, such as computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), to create a precise digital model of the tooth to be treated. This model is used to design the crown, which is then milled from a block of ceramic material in the office.
